A monster of an eastern moose that we first spoted 4 day’s eariler ,after much coaxing with the call, makes a huge mistake….this is as rut blind as you will ever see a bull moose..two missed shots and he still keeps coming…and after a good solid hit…HE STILL KEEPS COMING!!!! this is not footage you will see every day

I can see why you guys treat these moose with respect, they are really tough, and can take hits and still be dangerous.

single shot rolling block with a flintlock style cocking hammer and peep sights shooting through black spruce at THE bull that had been in our minds all week…other than that I don’t know…think he did pretty good under the circumstances myself
…watch the vid again at one point you here vince say “wish we had a 300 now”….Jim Did it the hard way..anyone can pick em off from 300 yards with a scoped bolt .338
