why would u carry an axe out in the feild to cut the bone it just adds on to the weight ur already carrying and u dont need to brea the pelviis its not like it helps in the long run

expertvillage ? your no expert i’ve never seen a half assed gut job like that an axe wtf theres no reason to break it if you do want to agood knife and a small rock will do the job but it is not something you have to do! just cut around the butt hole and pull it back to the guts you will waste alot less meat that way

This guy when he’s gutting the deer doesn’t know his head from his ass. You need to spend a couple of minutes at least with his little wal-mart knife to make it even remotely sharp. Also, If the guy learns to try and not get the hair on the good meat then maybe he won’t have to wash it down which will make it start to lose it’s flavor. I have never honestly needed to break a bucks pelvic bone when i was gutting it. But if you want shitty meat then go ahead. Oh I use a better knife then him.
